WHO WE ARE

    Science-Projects.com is a non-profit website dedicated to helping students, teachers and parents (too!) with novel projects with an aim towards presenting in regular scientific circles. Participants are encouraged to work collaboratively. Vermeulen is project coordinator and webmaster of www.science-projects.com. He is a member of the ASM's education section (W).

    Eight times out of the last six years, this website has presented at the ASM, and twice chosen to be among 80 for introduction to press and radio. This year's coauthors formed a collaborative effort between three high schools in New York and Virginia. In the pipeline are high schoolers and undergraduates from Tasmania, India, the USA, and Scotland.
