Students will work in groups initially for two reasons:
This game is based on a fundamental biological principle:
Survival of the Fittest!
Once kids are against the wall, the teacher asks a question that can be answered by each group's choosing a card from their deck.
On the teacher's command "Show cards!", each group holds their card out so that the teacher can easily see it.
Those not showing a correct card, move over to The Wall of Second Chance.
The teacher than asks another question; groups choose what they believe to be a correct card; and show it upon command. If a group at The Wall of Second Chance makes an error, they are out of the game and have to do some clean up task in the room after class. (Obviously, the earlier that a group is out of the game, the longer they must work.)
