This is a review of an example of outreach activity which culminated in two presentations by high school students at professional scientific society meetings.

1. The Annual Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology,
   Held in Washington DC's new Convention Center. The presentation consisted of the poster shown at the Fralin Workshops.

2. The Virginia Academy of Sciences. This was a slide-talk to the biochemistry section. (Notice that the high schoolers' presentation was NOT to the junior academy.)
