The Genealogy of Moses

There was dissention in the palace as to which half brother - Moses or Thutmoses-III - should be the pharaoh after aging mother, Her Majesty, the King Hatshepsut, dies. They call in the court seer who beckons the proverbial space aliens to determine the matter. After all, was it not these same other-world creatures who taught the Egyptians to hew stone and build great pyramids laid out with such precision according to the prime compass directions?

The aliens take DNA samples from the aging mother, her two sons and also from the mummies of mother's father Thutmoses-I and her husband/half-brother Thutmoses-II, who was sickly and died prematurely. (Now remember that all along mother had said that she had first claim on being Pharaoh since she was the only surviving child of Thutmoses-I and her mother the Queen, while Thutmoses-II had only second claim, despite his being male, because in him the royal blood was polluted by the blood of a mere concubine, while hers was royal through and through. Also Her Majesty Hatshepsut had long refused to discuss the origin of Moses, and rumors had it that she had been impregnated by her father. If this rumor was true, then Moses would be pure royal blood, and thus have precedence over his half brother. However, if Thutmoses-I was not the father, then Moses would only be half-royal, and thus inferior to his half-brother.) The official family tree is shown, below.

The Egyptian court watches in amazement as small amounts of a negatively charged blue dye are added to each of hte prepared samples, which are inserted into holes in a "jelly," and then how the blue mysteriously moves slowly across the "jelly," and then how an invisible light suddenly makes lots of other lines appear.

Anyway, pretend that you are the space alien presenting your findings. What should your full report say?
